The National Asian Cricket Council exists to support and promote the interests of the South Asian Cricketing Community at National and Regional levels, whilst developing positive relationships between key stakeholders such as the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), County Boards and their immediate cricketing communities.
Today the National Asian Cricket Council stand as the ECB’s key advisory body for the South Asian Cricket Community in England and Wales. We have Board members representing the majority of Counties around England and Wales, comprising of people who have direct connectivity with the South Asian Cricket Community in their respective regions.
We recognise that since the launch of the ECB’s South Asian Action Plan in May 2018, matters that required attention across many fronts, have started to be understood and addressed accordingly, around a robust framework.
Our aims and objectives are clear, in that we remain a body that is fully engaged with the cricketing stakeholders in England and Wales. We welcome and encourage open and constructive dialogue with the South Asian Cricketing Community in serving their best interests on and off the pitch.
